Falunt it Friday Design Team Project

This week ( due to Internet problems I couldn't post this until today) we were to make anything using Paper Pups and we need to use the cut on page 104 the boarder feature with the  cat and the dog, I didn't have this feature so I used the cartridge : Cricut Sampler that had a cat and a dog that resembled the cut we needed and here is what I came up with :

The paper on the first layer is from paper I got at a local craft store when I first started crafting I'm not sure who makes it but it says like sweet, and love and stuff in the little circles, the plain paper is as always from Joanns, the Love came from the cricut sampler too as did the heart, I faux stitched and used the jewels from the dollar bin at Joanns as well. and that my friends is my Design Team entry. Check them all out at

TIny Dancer

So for those of you who did not make it over to which you should of she has a great blog over there. this is what I made ( remember the little tid bit I showed you???)

Super cute huh? I used Paper from DCWV the dots, plaids and stripes (it's my very favorite so far) I used plain paper from Joanns, it's my go to for card stock (plain), I used purple stickles , and Twinkle Toes for the little girl she is sooo cute, and the stars are from there too. The boarder pearls are from my grandma.

Scrappin Roots BLog HOP

Good Morning Everyone if you are here from Amanda: then you are on the right track. So my friend and fellow crafter Erin over at ( she is where you start if you are lost) thought of the idea to have this Scrappin Roots blog hop to go back to scrapbook roots which is Scrapbook layouts. I for one was so happy to be a part of this hop, and then I started to freak out I DON"T MAKE LAYOUTS the idea of them scare me to death, I don't know why but I thought for weeks on what I was going to do, the pictures I was going to use, the theme the paper then it hit me that I was OVER thinking everything . SO here is my FIRST layout for you all to see, I only changed it a billion and one times.

I scrapped a page for my boys, It's my first page so it's not perfect. The main 12x12 page was some I got for 10 cents at Joanns one day, the solid paper is from Joanns and the letters are from a scrabble game, The pictures are of my son's Gavin and Gabriel they are now 9 and 11 but in the pics they are 3 and 5 and 5 and 7 they are growing so fast. after I made this page I kinda liked it, and I think I will make pages every once in a while and when I get enough I will have a book without even trying.

 Now for the blog candy
To win this you have to be a follower, and leave a comment. I will pick a winner on Tuesday. For the prize I put together a *grab bag* in it is Ribbon, Stamps, Stickers, Brads lots of goodies you will not want to miss out on this bag I kinda went overboard :D haha.

I kinda wanted the bag to be a Surprise but I figured I'd give you a teaser picture just so you know it is full of goodies :D

your next stop will be :

Flaunt It Friday Time

It's time to Flaunt it if you have got it over at for this weeks challenge us Design Team Members had to create something from the Cartridge Give a Hoot the only requirement was to use Give a Hoot of course and the cut from page 61, which would be the bear in the trash can this is what I created
I took a bucket and wrapped twine that my mom had around it, and used the bear for the front he is cut at a 4 inch, and then I took the recycle symbols and cut them at 1.5 inches and made them into flowers, they are on the same page as the bear. I made this to remember to keep all my little scraps that I might other wise throw away.
Be sure to check out everyone elses projects. Sorry this is short and sweet but My internet is being rude and I really wanted to be able to make this post before it acts up again.

Tacky Tuesday Entry

My good friend in the craft world Theresa aka teamed up with her friend to have the Tacky Tuesday challenges and this is my first entry. This week you needed to use (if you had) the whale from Create a Critter and a saying using the word Whale. Here is my entry

I don't have any sentiment stamps so I had to write : Whale that was nice of you! : D but I love that whale he is so cute. I used all DCWV paper from the summer stack for the solids and my new favorite ever stack Dots, Stripes and Plaids for the dot paper.  I love DCWV they will always be my favorite.

Wacky Wednesday Challenge number 21

For the Challenge over at this week was Gift and Treat bags, You could make either one, I made a treat box for valentines day. I used Sweet Treats Cartridge , paper from my scrap pile (it's valentines day Themed) and I used Ribbon from Walmart ( I love their ribbon, it's less than 50 cents, you can't really beat that). I used Elmers glue runner, and honestly it really does not work that great, I will never buy it again. The sad part is I bought 2 refill kits too. I does not stick very well at all, I only bought it because I'm out of ATG Tape, and I was really disappointed in the quality. Enough about that, I just thought I would tell you my thoughts on the matter.  I also used the Cartridge Simply Charmed for the saying and the hearts ( i didn't get a picture of them, they are on the side)

Here is what is on the inside:

Mm, they are my favorite kind of candy. I love Valentines day. I hope to making more treats, and such all month long so watch for them .

Welcome to MY first Flaunt it Friday Blog hop, I am so honored to be apart of this group. Today's hop is all about Hello Kitty.

. If you are here from then you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go directly to the Flaunt It Friday's ) For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Hello Kitty with Airplane on Page from the Hello Kitty Greeting Cart. Here is my project :

I took a coffee can and wrapped it with blue paper and then used the airplane cut from the Hello Kitty cartridge at a size 3.5  and I used Mickey Font at a size 1 inch  for the letters and of course stickles . The card stock all came from Joanns. I made it a Travel fund so that we can put all our change that is laying around the House inside of it, and then maybe when it's full we can take a trip to the Ocean.

Now for my second project we got to choose any cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings  and I chose the Cheerleader cut on page  59 and I cut it at 5 inches , I re-purposed a notebook for my friend Lydia who will be going back to school to be a nurse soon, but she needed a little cheerleader to cheer her on so here it is :
again the card stock is from Joanns for the letters I used Mickey Font, it's one of my favorite fonts.
