Good Morning people of the craft world. Welcome to the With The Rain Comes All Things Beautiful blog hop. If you randomly stumbled upon my blog first off Welcome and if you would like to be in this hop of ours then you will have to start at the beginning which would take you to the Creator of this blog hop scraps2treasure.blogspot.com.

When  I was first given a spot in this blog hop I thought what reminds me of spring.. and it hit me BUTTERFLYS of course. So I created something to get me in the spring mood, and I didn't use a cricut machine (shocking I know). I did use all DCWV paper from the Spots , Dots and Plaids Stack it's the best stack by far, trust me I have it in every size lol. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and the chipboard is all from Spots , Dots and Plaids too. (told you I love that line).

Here is my creation :

And here are all the pieces :

It was my first ever banner. I plan on hanging it up when I get back home, were out of town right now.

Now for the blog candy :

Monica at scraps2treasure is offering an over-all blog candy for those who are hopping along with us. She decided since the hop was about spring to to do a whole bunch of "spring flowers".

Today My baby turns 10 yrs old.

My son Gabriel (our baby) Turned 10 today. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Here is a picture of him on his first birthday ;

He was so chubby, He weighed  almost 9 lbs at birth he is not so chubby anymore .

Here is the card I finished for him :

I used DCWV paper from the Dots, Plaids and stripes  stack, along with paper from Joanns for the cow, the ribbon is some of the 30 for 9.99 sale I found at Craft Warehouse (it's brown with white stripes) and the { symbols is chipboard also from the Dots Plaids and Stripes line from DCWV. I borrowed my sisters Birthday Bash Cart to make the cow he is cut at 4.5 inches. so super cute.

Flaunt It Friday Time Again :D

This week for our design team we could make anything we wanted from Twinkle Toes, I got this cart for xmas from my hubby and I hardly have time to use it. I used it when I was a guest designer and that was the one and only time I opened the box. So My really good friend leslie's daughter was turning one this week and I needed to make her a card, I was going to use twinkle toes anyway for her birthday card, but then I got the Idea to make her something more special than a card and this is what I made her :

I got a 6 pk of frames on clearence  at walmart for 2 bucks, and the background paper is DCWV from the Nana's babies Girl stack, and the pink and purple paper is from joanns and STICKLES of course.  I just love it, I gave it to her yesterday.

To check out all the other entries  for this week head over to : http://flauntitfridays.blogspot.com/ also you can use any cut from Twinkle Toes or any similar cut this week and be entered to win NATES ABC's .

Teachers

So I happened to  wonder into my son's preschool (so long ago they went there) and on 3 teachers desks were still pics of my sons from when they were 3 and 5 and I told them I'd bring them new pics, but I can just hand someone pictures I have to make it fancy. I'm hesitant to post this because these are pictures of my sons... but that is the only way to show you what I made.

and Here they are :

I used DCWV paper as the back ground for all of them, and Mickey Font for the words, and bling from Joanns.

and the last one :

They have not seen them yet, well the one teacher did but I still have them at my house, I will deliver them tomorrow :D I hope they like them.
